On 15 September 2022, SPIDER project had its Final Review meeting, in Athens, Greece, with the physical presence of the majority of the Consortium partners, and representatives from the EU Commission. The meeting was organised in hybrid form, allowing partners with restrictions on travel, to also join digitally.
SPIDER partners, after 36 months of implementation, showcased a number of results, including several training scenarios executed through the SPIDER 5G Cyber Range infrastructure, like: attacks on unpatched Infrastructure, SMS Overhearing, ORAN Controller exploitation and defensive ML artifacts over 5G.
Additionally, various demos presented for: Serious (RxB) and soft skill games, the Cybersecurity Investment Component, and the Cybersecurity Risk Assessment Platform, as well as for the Security Assurance Platform and Terraforming Infrastructure of OSS.
Final review meeting was a great success, presenting how SPIDER met in full the set objectives though demonstration of tangible results. Following this last milestone, consortium partners will investigate what comes next, based on the roadmap of future exploitation and continuation of SPIDER 5G Cyber Range platform improvements.
